Don't forget to visit the Stockbridge Market at Jubilee Gardens every Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm for delicious local treats. If you have time, take a peaceful 15-minute walk to the Royal Botanic Gardens for a calm and beautiful family experience with plants and flowers.

2. Water of Leith Path: A Nice Walk by the River

Discover the Water of Leith Walkway, a 13-mile path  that twists and turns through the city, perfect for families to enjoy. Whether you like a gentle stroll or a bike ride, this scenic route connects Balerno to the southwest, Leith to the northeast, and the Firth of Forth up north. Keep an eye out for birds and wildflowers along the way, and don't forget to take a break at historic Dean Village for a fantastic view of the river. With its old-timey streets and beautiful scenes of the Old Town, it's a magical spot worth checking out.
